So I went to Thailand with Dahlia for almost a month. It was great. The image above is a TUK TUK. The streets of any city in Thailand are swarmed with them. It's kind of a taxi, but they are super agressive and the drivers will just start talking to you out of nowhere. As far as being drivers, they are pretty crazy too, but they get you where ya need!

Dahlia and I were talking about making a children's book. We came up with a loose concept and I got excited and started designing :)

We have to tighten up the story and then write it, but I'm pretty excited about the idea of working together!

So a while ago, I entered a contest with almost 900 other contestants. I came in 10th and my buddy, the talented, Aisleen came in first! So this post is the turn around I submitted for lead character. It's a bit dated, but I realized I didn't have any turn arounds here.

the zombies from my last post so I was riding that wave out, lol.

I drew these on the subway... I was testing out a bit with adding more graphic elements to the designs. I still have some work to do on it, but I think it's a good start. Now that the Bronx Zoo is walking distance, when it gets warmer I will be spending a lot of time there. So, expect to see more animals in the spring.

Dahlia got an invite to go to a preview of James Jean's Kindling show and got to take me along with her. I have been to galleries before, but i don't think I have ever appreciated what i saw as much as I appreciated this. He is by far my favorite artist, and to see how much work he puts out and on a consistently brilliant level is truly inspiring.
